Innovation in Production: Grabo Balloons' New Regenerative Thermal Oxidation Plant

NewImproving the Environment and Productivity: Grabo's Continuous Commitment

Grabo Balloons is excited to announce the introduction of a new regenerative thermal oxidation plant for the treatment of atmospheric emissions, designed to make our production processes even more sustainable. This innovation marks an important step forward in our mission to reduce environmental impact without compromising the quality of our products.

The regenerative thermal oxidation machine operates simply and effectively. The system captures emissions containing volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from our foil balloon printing processes. These emissions are then channeled into a combustion chamber where, thanks to a combination of high temperature, turbulence, and residence time, the VOCs are transformed into carbon dioxide (CO2), water (H2O), and heat.

One of the most innovative aspects of this machine is the use of ceramic beds for preheating the air. The polluted air passes through these beds, which absorb and release heat depending on the phase of the process, making the system highly energy-efficient. This not only reduces emissions but also allows for significant energy savings, improving the overall efficiency of our production.

Thanks to this new plant, Grabo Balloons is committed not only to providing high-quality balloons but also to contributing to a greener and more sustainable future. As a company, we will continue to invest in technologies that support the environment, improve the quality of our products, and protect our employees.
