Terre di Grabo is an ambitious agricultural project that our president, Giorgio Grassi, started in 2018. Taking inspiration from the principles of permaculture and biodynamics, we aim to regenerate soil fertility currently ravaged by the abuse of fertilisers and pesticides.
Through our cooperative, we have brought many acres of land back to life by cultivating them with vines, olive trees, ancient grains and vegetables. What we do enables both the land and the produce to achieve exceptional quality, deliciousness and freshness, richness of nutrients, vitamins and minerals with full respect for nature.
All this in the spirit of giving, caring, sharing. To maintain a balance between what we have and what we give, between what we are and what we do. To remember that we are simply human beings, here for just a little while. To make this planet a better place. We are happy to say that after 5 years this project is consistently bringing healthy food, clean drinks, sustainability, and education to a large number of people who love fresh, nutritious food.
Watching the planted seeds grow is one of life's greatest joys.
Our land now also has a shop, e-commerce and distribution point. We simply cannot wait to take this project Worldwide.
Recently, Giorgio and his family have started a new project located in our area, that takes care of 10 hectares of vineyards planted with Sangiovese, Rebola, Bombino, and Cabernet Franc from which we produce excellent organic wines vinified in our cellars of Tenuta Gaiano. We are always ready to undertake new initiatives aimed at preserving our land and implementing our philosophy of sustainability and naturalness.
